Happy Springtime...

What springtime? The weather banner in my sig says 22 right now.

However, winning because it's time to go home.

I live in a Desert and the area gets more heat than some places, especially the land of Lincoln. I'm sorry You have snow problems though, but look on the bright side, at least you aren't being baked right now. Besides today on the calendar at least, is the 1st day of spring, no matter how brief it will be.

We don't have snow right now (except the big dirty piles left over in the corners of parking lots from last time). It's just cooollld. The snow comes this weekend, they say.

Winning at home, with dinner in the oven. I hate handling raw garlic, though. The smell doesn't wash off my fingers.

Springtime, ringtime ... with snow flurries on the East coast, as reported by Don the Fish
(an itinerant fishmonger who comes from Grimsby to West London each Wednesday).

Los Angeles used to have a weather forecaster by the name of Dr. George Fischbeck, He was quite good too.

It's most likely related to something some don't want to admit is happening, global warming and it's cousin global cooling. This area couldn't make up its mind whether to be cold or warm... Now its windy...

This is 467, nearly there, but unusually I have a days work ahead with possibly no time to check here.

I suspect the magic number will be reached today, but you may have to wait till after 17:00 hrs UTC for the thrilling announcement.

First day of Spring. So where are the flowers. There are suppose to be flowers!

I have flowers. My almond trees bloomed two weeks ago, they are shedding white petals now. My Lilacs are about half-way in bloom, some are a lovely purple, others more pink. And the roses are blooming for the first time since Christmas....

And of course all the purple, white, and yellow flowers on the weeds in the lawn. (8{) Gonna mow then down as soon as my mower comes back fromthe repair shop.
