California gets floods too. Just not very often. That's not a flood - It's a puddle ;) I'll take my chances if it's only every thousand years there as opposed to twice a month here ;) ____________

California gets floods too. Just not very often. That's why CA now has flood control, Los Angeles especially. ____________ BSG Anthem My Facebook page

Oh we have flood control, but it's being overwhelmed by the changes in weather we are seeing this side of the pond. Up to March of last year we were in a serious drought condition. Then from March onwards, every single month has seen above average rain fall with many of those months seeing double the average rainfall. Look at the chart below - the red line shows what's been happening with the rainfall. It's just gone crazy! ____________

Sorry Yer having a hard time now, CA built the LA system very well, when the river rises, it can handle the flow and has for a long time, since the 1930's, droughts We get, plus then We get what You're seeing now, rain here can and does come down in torrents, bathtubs full of them, of course we don't get as much rain as Seattle WA, but that's Seattle. ____________ BSG Anthem My Facebook page

Easy to get at - just click the weather banner in my signature and it will take you to all the charts :) Been running the weather station for a few years now, dropped the old URL & hosting for it recently as it was getting costly to run and now just run it on a home server ____________

Nice, that's some weather station You have, looks good too Andy. I beat the root-kit, had to fix the mbr and a boot sector in the recovery console(a Microsoft site mentioned that little gem), use malwarebytes, kasperskys tdsskiller.exe, spybot search and destroy and avast, but the two small beeps that I used to hear are gone as is the louder 2 beeps that announced the rootkit was at large and all without a reformat of the hdd. ____________ BSG Anthem My Facebook page

Andy I like what I see. What is the model of weather station and the monitoring software running on the server? I have my own wireless weather station (WH1070) but it doesn't have a computer connection as it only cost £50! I've always wanted to do what you do but the professional stations cots £200 upwards.

I've got a feeling mine is a slightly later version of yours, but will have to check. Got it from MAPLIN if I remember correctly. The software I use is Weather Display - you can get a 30 day trial then pay for a lifetime licence. I'll look at the model next time I am in the office where the weather station, it's computer and the server all live. ____________
