In the closet, guarded by Grace... But I expect she will let her human have it due to his current health situation (edit - ps, this is one of the few times I really hope it is just flu) Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

I can joke about it now, but at the time it was deadly serious.... Possibly like this one almost? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Powered_exoskeleton The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Rob makes sense Vic, please listen to him. I am, of course I can call the Doctors Office on Monday morning and see if any lab results are in and can I go to a GI Doc, but I can't force them, they can tell Me to get lost, that they see nothing wrong. Rob makes sense Vic, please listen to him. I said I will, I just have to hear what they tell Me, their in control, not Me, sheesh.... Lighten up please, I can only go see the My doc, then their in charge, they can tell Me yes or no, I've actually been told once that if they don't see anything, that they won't do anything. Just cause I went to the lab and they got a sample doesn't mean anything, if nothing is found they have the right, to tell Me to go home.... Cause I have an HMO(Health Maintenance Organization) known as IEHP(Inland Empire Health Plan).... Bottom rung Doctors is what I get, Good ones won't see Medicaid patients cause of money, or should I say the lack of said. Even the Emergency Room Docs are better... Uli, Chris, I don't know a damned thing, so far, I've done whats been asked of Me by the powers that be. If this, if that.... The emergency room won't do tests beyond like they already have, they'll just tell Me to go talk to My Doctor(thats My experience), some Doctors like to say some are hypochondriacs if they find nothing wrong with someone who keeps coming back over and over again and HMOs like to limit the amount of tests and/or treatment to whatever is cheapest. The more I hear about HMOs, the happier I am I don't have one. David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri. |

I just called the Doctors office, they won't have any results until Tuesday, if the results are abnormal they would want Me to come in to talk to the Doctor, a cancer screening would also have to be talked to then with said Doctor. Oh da pain, between gas bubbles and a couple of painful toes that I'd stubbed months ago, it was worse when I had shoes on, a guy can't get a good nap, then the house went boom or rather someone dropped a bomb over near Fort Irwin.... So much for the peace and quiet of the high dessert, eh, Vic? I'm in the flight path for the Visalia airport, and also on the path from NAS Lemoore to NAS Fallon Nv. Even at high altitude, I can hear the F/A-18s coming home in the evening, even with windows closed. Donald Infernal Optimist / Submariner, retired |

At least the Army stops when darkness falls, well they do need their practice or they'd be green, painful gas bubbles usually mean a run for the latrine, I'll be glad when all of this is over, I really detest being sick as do most.... Did you manage to get your test results? Were they clear, or are you going to have to more tests?? Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

Did you manage to get your test results? No not yet, they said they'd call when they weren't so busy, so far nothing, if they haven't called in 75 minutes I'll call them again. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

I think I'd be "camped on the doctor's lawn" until I got to see him. (In the past I've found reception the hardest obstacle to overcome, and they don't like having their nice tidy reception area cluttered up with people waiting to see a doctor...) I think I'd be "camped on the doctor's lawn" until I got to see him. I'm about out of minutes on the Virgin Mobile Paylo plan and that's another 16 minutes out of 400 for $20(384 minutes argon, phone is now off, for emergencies only now), after that no phone service until the 1st. Otherwise I'd have to drive 12 miles just to find out what's going on. Right now I'm coughing up phlegm and blowing My nose so that I can breathe again. Get a Magic Jack so you'll have a landline in the house. $20 to buy the one that plugs into a computer or $40 for the stand alone, and $20 a year for service. Works great as long as you have internet. Right now I'm coughing up phlegm and blowing My nose so that I can breathe again. I know the feeling. Ugh. You may not believe me, but my breathing really has gotten better as I've lost weight. And I'm not exercising for the weight loss, just eating a *little bit* healthier. Nothing major, just a single cheeseburger instead of a double, skip the fries most of the time, etc. David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri. |
