Is/was the building a fire lookout tower? Already established that, the pic just has a structure in it, their common in the USA where forests are at. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Is/was the building a fire lookout tower? No you just said it was common, not what it function was. Knowing the function we can now assume it is a high point with a good view. So, speaking of high points, is there a plaque on the building saying it is the highest point east of the Rockies and west of the Pyrenees? |

Harney Peak I'll give it to You since You mentioned Black Hills, as that's what I looked for, not any peak. Now go find something. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Harney Peak Vic, take a chill pill. You asked where, not where to 100 miles. |

Can you identify the watershed and the cause of the unusual markings? Watershed, no, behind a dam. |

Well the marking are the high water mark from a flood or storm surge. So mabey Central Park, New York. Correct coast, and correct cause. Now just need the watershed. Fortymile Photo |
