	I wonder if the streak is going to continue and the team wearing the Blue and Gold will win this Saturday? :) It has been a while since the visitors have trounced the home team. I suspect so, but I believe it was 1998 the last time the Bruins won at Cal. Hope the game comes down to the last couple of minutes and not a blow out. ____________

	I guess football is, to you guys, the same as soccer is to us, a big deal!! Perhaps. I was in southern Spain one time when a big soccer game ended in the favorite local team winning. The fans went nuts!!!!! I'd never seen such public displays of enthusiasm. I've never seen anything even remotely like that here, but then again I may just not be in the right places at the right times. Fans are fans, I suppose. In our home we are actually much bigger college football fans than professional football fans, although Eric will watch the Packers play when he can.

	Never forget that the word fans is shorthand for the word fanatics, and that a backward boy is spelt yob. Still, we haven't decided yet whether Rugby is a hooligan's game played by gentleman, or a gentleman's game played by hooligans. But they do have odd shaped balls :-)
