With all the "politico's" jumping on the Team GB bandwagon, will they now listen to those who won the medals?

Nice, at least one company didn't make any profit from it's mistakes. Makes me wonder though how a "CEO" can not explain what went wrong with his company....was he there just to rake in $$$$$ & sod the employees?

G4S Chief says losses could be £50 million or more

We're aiming to win 103 medals, no pressure then after the Main Olympics result :-)

Yep, more lovely "FREE" cash for me!

Well, let's hope that this doesn't get fobbed off....

...or brushed under the carpet.

Oh Dear, Nick Buckles wants the lot as he sees the Olympics were successful....

The question is.... "Will the muppets give it to him"?

Buckles wants the lot

I thought company had already been told the £50million for that part of the contract would not be paid as they were in breach for not delivering the contracted security personnel numbers?

That's where the armed forces came in.
It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues

For the benefit of G4S contracted employees who have still not been paid after Olympics training, it is being judged that it's in their interests that Buckles stays as they are more likely to get paid. I would judge that G4S is fatally wounded in the UK, and when it is all over, I expect him to go then.

Maybe, but what sucker of a company then gets him?

Brilliant warning for any company wanting to take on future Government contracts: -

Mess it up & you will be scrutinised & probably to the detriment of your company....

G4S loses Prison contract

Still no further reports on the Locog/G4S cash issue.... more than likely, out of sight out of mind comes into play.

Will this statement turn out to be true?

"The key problem is politicians don't look far enough ahead. Their priority is to get re-elected in however many years' time."

Del-boy on the back foot

Riddle me this Del-boy: Where are the sports fields for this soundbite of yours?

I posted the above on 10/Aug/12 with a fair comment in reply...

I suppose in one way, Sirius; at least he's building on success in a way,
in many aspects something we have failed to do for years upon years in the UK.

Little did we know then that it was indeed just that - A political Soundbite!

Jessica Ennis Don Valley Stadium to close

Hmmmn, large brown envelopes come to mind....lovely site for development for the fatcats..... Tesco's (Horsemeat! Horsemeat! My Kingdom for Horsemeat} hyper market maybe?
