Elect Romney to lead the nation. Only Mr. Romney will be able to make the hard decisions that it will take to solve America’s ills. It is high time for all the left wing pansies to get out of the way. It may be true that some sections of the electorate may have to be removed from the body politic to clear a path for the true capitalists. Of course Mr. O’Bama would never sign an order that would consign some lower member of society to oblivion for the good of the country. It would only be the clear headed minds of the American right, and their “Tea Party†partners who could force the hard dictions. It will be clear that after only five or ten years of very real pain that the USA will be on the road to true prosperity, and a work force that would be in no doubt as to what their place will be, and how lucky they are not to be Frenchmen or even worse, Canadians. There have been movements in the past that attempted to turn America in to a sort of European left wing socialist paradise. It must be noted that your average citizen in the lower 48 is not ready or even able to live up to the kind of public education or civilized behavior needed to carry out the kind of skill needed to live in Europe. Citizens in the US should admit to them self’s that some people are richer than others for very good reasons, and they should be glad that these special and superior people who live among them are so willing to help the less fortunate. Elect Romney! |

Celt -- indeed, why elect a centrist pansy and you can elect a right wing pansy. Besides, we need to elect someone who makes enough money so the rest of us don't have to work (since are jobs will continue to be exported) |

Celt, You made me chuckle:) But how would you feel if Canada had an explosive wave of immigration from us unwashed barbarians from the south? After all we hear all the time how great Canada and the EU is, Maybe 150 or 200 million of us can partake of some of what you say is so special. I know your just having a go at us yanks and our idiots we elect, I blame it on King George the III. And I blame George Washington to, He could have chosen to be a King , but NOOOOOOOOOOO he wanted to be a president,And then be relected. So now we have to live with it:) [/quote] Old James |

There is only one thing that will save the candidacy of Mitt Romney, one thing that will bring back trust to the Republican Party. Mitt Romney must appoint Colin Powell as his vice presidential running mate or all is lost. Allen King is an idiot; Marco Rubio is not trustworthy even in Florida. Michael Steel as a candidate is way too smart to get tied up in such a political mess. Every one of any merit in the party must now unite behind Romney, and his new “VPâ€. If this is not done this week, it will be too late, and you all are doomed to become some sort of second rate Europeans, or shame of all shames, Canadians! If you fail at this last chance, don’t come crying to me while you are in the depths of a cold snowy winter sitting there nursing a warm Moosehead beer. |

as if he is Irish. The " O ' " is generally in last names of people of Irish descent. While his mother has a minor amount of Irish ancestry, her surname is not his. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barack_Obama Obama was born on August 4, 1961, at Kapiʻolani Maternity & Gynecological Hospital (now Kapiʻolani Medical Center for Women and Children) in Honolulu, Hawaii,[2][4][5] and is the first President to have been born in Hawaii.[6] His mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, was born in Wichita, Kansas, and was of mostly English ancestry,[7] along with Scottish, Irish, German, and Swiss.[8][9][10][11][12] His father, Barack Obama, Sr., was a Luo from Nyang’oma Kogelo, Nyanza Province, Kenya. |

Celt, I enjoyed your post. You would be singing a different tune if Canada had the burden of a massive underclass. At the moment 108 million Americans are receiving government handouts. This does not include socialist security or medicare. Well over 40 million are on food satmps. So you see we have the grace of the europeans after all. The immigrants from their former empires will boost their welfare obligations just as has happened here in the US. In the past immigrants came in legally for the opportunity for earning a better life., learned the language and got to work. Now it's why bother I can be comfortable without the burden of sweat and everything is written in spanish, french and soon chinese. Now they come for the enhanced welfare benefits. Not everyone of course, and it is hard to find decent work at the moment that pays more than welfare. |

Oh welfare and government handouts. We have that as well, let me see, the oil factors get handouts, tobacco used to get hand outs, and most “Small business†start-ups also get government money as well, you know small outfits like GE, Bombardier, and Avro Canada ltd. Just like the good old US of A. |

Ok now we are in for it, this conversation is getting away from the important fact that Americans must elect Romney and his best choice for VP, Colin Luther Powell. Remember, only our Mitt will be able to make the big decisions to save the republic from that creeping socialism like they have in the state of Massachusetts. Why the next thing they will try to do will be to make every one learn only one language. People who speak real languages will have to unlearn them and then only use French or worse Canadian. |

Well in at least in Canada they don't have to learn French -- Quebecois is the superior choice. |

Are you talking about the Romney who was Govenor of Massachusetts, who introduced the socialist Health Care Reform, and on Abortion said " I will protect a woman's right to choose under the laws of the country and the commonwealth." Who also said "Deadly assault weapons have no place in Massachusetts. These guns are not made for recreation or self-defense." And also increased taxes on Business. |

in quebec it is called Joual, I learned mine up the Saguenay You mean Romney was Governor of Massachusetts, and he introduced Health Care Reform? Plus he supports a woman's right to choose, and tried to enact gun control? Sounds to me like this man is very qualified to lead. |
