In the original Canadian rules a reverse manoeuvre can only be played by a resident of the province of Quebec first time. I think we need a ruling here.

You are probably working from the 1896 translation of the Union Station rules, which are generally considered to be incorrect.See the Court ruling in McGill v. McMasters. Chris' reversal is quite legitimate.

Doubles are permitted if one invokes the Retribution Clause. Under the terms of said Clause, one is not allowed to state that one is invoking it. One just does it.

That cancels Wimbleton, which was totally the wrong direction anyway.
