Use Photobucket ....

But according to another user [paraphrase]"Copying online pics is copyright infringement"

This is where my confusion comes in.

I know how to post pictures, my question is how can 'ANY' pictures be kosher? Without hotlinking, we're limited to, well, nothing.

And for the record, not every image online is copyrighted. Open source logos fall under GPL unless otherwise stated, everything on my sig is 100% copyright free.

On sites such as Photobucket, or Facebook, the owner of the pic can control its availability to the public through privacy settings and the "share" function. So if "sharing" is enabled, it is available to others for personal, non-commercial use.

I won contest. Someone want to take over? I'm having trouble uploading a picture.

Same here...Even a hot link won't work.

Yes, a bit of a catch 22. You are supposed to get permission first, even for non commercial use.

IIRC WikiMedia both allows hot links and has copyright release info.

Wasn't that long ago the Regents forced Matt to clean up a bunch.

If you copy it to say photobucket, then carefully read their TOS.

I am thrilled that someone finally got the TV Trivia! That is a fun game, especially when you control the floor... Getting to think of the clues is interesting.

Yeppers, a while back. I suspect he posted then darted out of the forums.

Haha, that's why I haven't responded yet. I always wait for someone else to post when it gets jammed. He posted nine seconds after me :(

"good to the bone" - used to describe a very good roasting joint.

Just wish folks would stop using "~" to indicate a missing word in the connection, or posting explanations in the thread as both are distracting.

Haha, it was a stretch but I recalled seeing it one time with my grandfather while driving nearby it. And at least you will call shenanigans when you fell that it is. :)
