I think it was George Orwell who coined the term "Eurasia" in his "1984" novel but I cannot remember his other continents.

I remember when England played against "The rest of the world". Now they just play against Naples.

Why are you sorry, you should be celebrating. It is only the Scots that will be crying into there beer on hearing this result.

Well, I always sympathized with the Scots. I like their pipes and their whisky.

Rugby is a real mans game, totally different. But real football is soccer, not USA College football.

Well, soccer, rugby and the CFL are real games. The NFL tried to copy them but just couldn't get it right.

Lame excuse to stay on topic: I suggest a new game, where we try to come up with toally off-topic posts.

Sisters (Subaru is, I believe, the same constellation we call the 7 sisters).

<Nope - the "Seven Sisters" is Cassiopeia>

Steven, unless I am missing something I think you have the rules confused. The next number was 7507, not 75075. The number cannot be part of a number unless it's normally separated, like 750-7507 is ok but not 75075. Sorry.

And when it is actually 2 separate numbers? (See the entry for 7516)

No one had complained about that. I used 4 jerseys back in the 2300 thread. There were no complaints. I tried the part of the number and was chastised, as many have. The welts still show.

I am sorry my server went south, I'll try to find out why. For now I put up a new pic for the contest.

Lots of creativity shown this time. Jazz hands was up there, but with the can in clear view, Celt got me with "Stand back, I’m loaded!"

PM Sent.

whether you like it or not, the three best captions are to be named, so the rules. Otherwise do not play if you are tired.

I like the fun I have playing these games.
What with chemo I am tired all the time,
It takes me all of my will power just to
get out of bed most days. Then I have to
decide if what I have to do is so important
that I have to forgo my pain dope so I can
have the clarity of mind to safely do what
I must do.

Sorry, I was remote on my iPhone. Typing all of the captions was a little too much. If it's that important, then in the future I will wait until I am in front of a real computer to post the winner.

Exactly, well said. That is why there is far to much talk about "off topic" here in Seti.

Or at least, here in the Cafe'.
