Yeah thats compost too much heat and up it goes, there was a fire in LA a week or so back that was just compost, they had to use fire hoses and a skip loader to break it up to put the fire out...

Our life guards are young, so they didn't think of hoses. They had all the equipment, but iastead used buckets. Better to learn this way, with no damage done.
Sure I could have run a cross the street. but having grown up with this, I felt no need. Department on the way, just a smoldering heep of leafs.
It does seem my fellow board members had a cow.
Then they took all the parking spaces the Fire Enginge needed to help.
Sigh

Even more troubling is the fact that I'm headed "south".

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM I thoghtt NB is north of MS. What I know.

Nebraska? If that is what NB is, then it's more northwest of MS, than North.

I think Scare is driving south, but James is flying north. All good. Had a bit of rain yesterday and one grumble.

I was supposed to go south, but at the last minute they re-routed me west. But last night I enjoyed a thunderstorm and 50 degree temperatures. The down shot was I had to drive 600 miles and camp out on a mountain top at 9000 feet to partake of that refreshing weather!

A very hot and humid day today. There's a lot of ozon in the air too.; Lots of sunshine and no wind at all which makes it even hotter. Temps around 32°C.
We expect thunderstorms tomorrow and then it will cool down.

AFter the low 100s in Carson City last weekend, and around here Sunday & Monday, I'm enjoying the low 90s. Funeral duty Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday - graveside services in this heat are NOT easy.
Summer tiiiiiiiiiiiime, and the livin' is eeeeeeeeeesaaaaaaaaay......
