I have something like over 20 kites. I have one that is huge. It has about a 30 foot wingspan. I can fly it in winds of less than 20 knots. Over that and it flys me. I was flying it once when a gust started to lift me off the ground. My daughter about 7 at the time, came running and calling for help. Her and about 15 other kids all jumped on me and kept me firmly on the ground.

That reminds me of that black plastic zeppelin gimmick, that would fly in sunshine. (well at least until it made a unscheduled landing the the rosebushes)
