Likewise here, I will have to wake up my nice new 6 cores from sleep. Will just have to learn how to program them to crunch enhanced units.

With the tenacity of an idiot, I keep asking: Where's my AP's?

Probably on the disks in this cargo plane, en route from Arecibo (Puerto Rico) to the mainland.... ;-)

They sure don't make them like they used to. I flew in one of those back in the 70s and it was falling apart then. It was fun watching the oil pour out of the engines and the rivets pop out of the wings as they flapped going down the runway trying to get off the ground.

Yes, i did,
Every web server we connect to or route through gets to know basic stuff about which computer it is dealing with and what it wants to do.
It just depends what they / it dose with that info . . .

Despair, desperation, desolation. Still no AP's and soon no MB's either.

Thats a good reason to do some beta work later.

Two, out of 4 rigs have AstroPulse work, some have _3 or _4, as last digit, but
there aren't much of them.
Done by CPU, taking about 8 hours.

The LUNATICs ATI-GPU rev.521 app. takes a lot less time:

I'm an idiot Mark! I was certain that I wouldn't get any AP's for a long time, and when I noticed that also MB was about to run out, I chickened out and decided to allow MB after all. I was flooded with MB's to last me many days now. And just after that I noticed new datasets coming to life, including AP.

So even if there now is AP's available, my machines will not ask for them, since I'm already full of MB's.

I should have been waiting just another two hours.

As I said I'm an idiot!

I'll do some creative rescheduling though, to make room for some AP's too.

LOL

New tapes - and the result creation rate is at 0.0405/sec for AP? Something must be screwed up there ...

Oh, ye of little faith! (8{)

Must be getting cold at night, that you would even consider crunching MB to keep things warm.

Winter is approaching with frightening speed. I will be found frozen stiff if my computers doesn't get any AP's soon, to help me heat my apartment.

Please, pretty please, send me some AP's now.

The prediction for this winter here in scandinavia is a warm winter.
I have even read that it will be extreamly warm.
And now when the AP's are dropping in, perhaps you could heat your sauna as well.

So whats the big deal about only crunching APs? How do you setup your rig to only do certain types of WU's?

Less overheads, Boinc has less entries in it's client_state.xml, and Better Credit for the time expended than MB,

How? eithier set your project preferences to only one type of application, or do an app_info with only that type of app in it,

Looking around it looks like the Astropulse v505 are huge files as well, I'm running 1 right now on my CPU and its say time remaining 163 hours!

Can AP's be ran on the GPU as well, or only on CPU?
