Many of the AP's have gone into caches. The limiting is by number of tasks, not by estimated run time.

The upside is that if a host has mostly AP tasks it's likely to actually do them fairly promptly.

On the other hand, there is a nice bandwidth' speed for Multibeam due to lack of AP.

Yeah, I've got a stock for whole next week, so now I don't object to resume AP splitting ;-)

Hmmm... not my fault. I am only crunching on 64 of them at a time. Though without any new ones to download my 6 machines that run AP have resorted to grabbing MB tasks.

Enjoy it while you can. As soon as someone add more AP files to the splitters, we AP only crunchers will suck the bandwidth pool dry again :-)

I am enjoying it again and making new stock instead that one which I've lost yesterday ;-)

You need to remove the Nvidia AP app from your app_info, the 186.80 drivers are too old for OpenCL support, as i said yesterday, you'll continue erroring them out,
i think OpenCL support started with the 197.xx drivers, but wasn't reliable until the 26x.xx drivers,

Yep, I removed it yesterday after been rescheduled AP' WUs from GPU to CPU when I've seen how them immediately crashed. So now I can't understand why I was need to install Lunatics ;-)

The Optimised CPU apps are almost twice as fast as the Stock apps, and even more so with the r409 AP app.

Where have all the AP's gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the AP's gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the AP's gone?
Super crunchers have picked them every one
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?

Well, this reminds me of the, very old, 'song title' Where have all the good time gone?

And, I also can do with some more AstroPulse work..............

Personally I think that at least ap_splitter6 should be turned into mb_splitter5 to better balance the production of both types of work units IMHO.

Cheers.

Well at the moment, all the AP tapes have been split, so no new APs until new tapes arrive.

Winter is approaching with frightening speed. I will be found frozen stiff if my computers doesn't get any AP's soon, to help me heat my apartment.

Please, pretty please, send me some AP's now.

Still got some AstroPulse copies, for trial/test purposes but I can't grant you
credit for it, as 'they' don't 'really excist', anymore......... ;-)

I could do with some real ones, too, I lack a BIG DISH, Multi-Channel-receiver and
PC as splitter, etc., just dreaming..........and joking.........

As for the heat, MultiBeam Optimized SSSE3 on CPU and SSE3 on GPU, ATI app.
rev.177
, this combination uses more then a benchmark test.
Haven't seen one who stresses CPU and (multiple GPU(s), as well.

Looks like pretty soon I will be forced to again allow MB on my 11 AP only machines.

Sure don't want to. DCF, etc. will get all messed up, again.
