I have 114 AP WUs pending now, and only 1 valid one (which has been there for several days now, not just the usual 24 hours or so). The Server Status page shows that the AP Validators are running (2 of 3 anyway) and has shown that for a while. So wassup? Did I miss something recently? I have seen some comments about lack of AP server side processing, but usually in connection with the validators being down. So I ask again: wassup? |

I have 114 AP WUs pending now, and only 1 valid one (which has been there for several days now, not just the usual 24 hours or so). Problem is... The AP validator that does validation on current work is #3....and it's been mostly down for quite a while. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

I have 114 AP WUs pending now 298 pending and another 256 in progress. That will be a lot of fun when validator #3 comes alive... Seti@Netherlands website |

Yeah, OK, so why can't one of the other validators do the work? Or why the H**l is validator #3 down, and, apparently, unattended? |

Yeah, OK, so why can't one of the other validators do the work? All ap_validate processes are essentially identical, it's just that results for app_id 5 are checked by ap_validate3. The other two get app_id 3 and 4 and since there are no such results they just wake up occasionally, see there's nothing to do, and go back to sleep. Joe |

Yeah, OK, so why can't one of the other validators do the work? In which caase, since all 3 are "identical", why aren't they table driven, so they can be redirected, in case of "emergency". Question is moot now, as all 3 are now offline. Cool. Glad I had some effect!!! Not to mention, I now have TWO validated APs. THAT must be what took down the other 2 validators - overworked, they are. |

I had over 108 waiting validation this morning. Well the flood gates have opened and I'm down to 45. |

Yes, it looks like whatever the problem was has been fixed (at least for now - hope it wasn't a one-time "hand job"). I have had 89 APs cross over from Pending to Valid. Thanks to whoever deserves to be thanked on this one! |
