I just had to reformat my computer and will shortly be reinstalling BOINC on the machine. Prior to the reformat, I had work units downloaded for processing, so rather than get an entire new batch and have these expire, I wonder if there is a way to download the same files again so that the computer can essentially pick up where it left off. Anyone have ideas of how to accomplish this?

The only way is if you backed-up the Boinc Data directory before reformatting and copy it back to the drive. There is a small chance Seti will think its the same system and reissue the work if it has the same name and OS but it's more likely the project will see this as a new computer and assign new work.
