Credit only gets added when a WU has been validated, that is two crunchers have returned results that are sufficiently similar as to be statistically the same. I know that, but that's not the problem here. I think after the contact problems after Tuesdays outage, many haven't been able to report there finished WUs, they will soon though I'm sure :) |

Things were a little strange yesterday, but everything is as it should be on my end now. I knew it was just a matter of waiting it out. Steve Warning, addicted to SETI crunching! Not so sure everything is ok. I have a couple of hundred reported units from after the outage yesterday that are waiting for validation, they have also been reported by the wingman and there are no consensus problems. |

Are we still having issues with one of the download servers? Downloads are timing out almost as soon as they start. Hit retry a few times (or if quick enough disable & then re-enable network access) & then i get one or more actually start to download- and at a good speed considering the network traffic. I can get a few downloads this way, then they all start timing out as soon as they start again. Grant Darwin NT |

I'm having the same issues, seems like network traffic is maxed thus causing the issues. It'll sort itself. Executive Director GPU Users Group Inc. - brad@gpuug.org |

Pwoblems? Also all of the assimilators are disabled at the moment. They must be mucking about with things. hopefully an improvement of some sort. SETI@home classic workunits: 93,865 CPU time: 863,447 hours Join the [url=http://tinyurl.com/8y46zvu]BP6/VP6 User Group[ |

In about 7 hours, somebody (no name given), will start talking about a certain yellow bird. That is obvious if one take a look at the Cricket page. Our quackers friend is monitoring the cricket graph with interest.... Interesting how, with all splitters disabled and no work ready to send, downloads continue unabated. And upload traffic actually increases - that'll be the unrequited work requests, coming back for a second try, I'll guess. |

I noticed most of my machines at work were in an about 9 hr project backoff. So I poked them and they completed their downloads of 40-50 tasks. Then on their next scheduler update they got 20 resends. So I guess everyone is still downloading those 500,000 or so tasks the splitter cranked out. Looks like they are mostly shorties & VLARs from the ones I have received. SETI@home classic workunits: 93,865 CPU time: 863,447 hours Join the [url=http://tinyurl.com/8y46zvu]BP6/VP6 User Group[ |
