As of about 4:30 am Berkeley time the Hurricane Electric link went totally dead. Cross your fingers and hope it will be easily restored.Joe Seemed to bounce pretty much straight back up. I think we've seen Campus do maintenance/upgrades in the early hours of the morning, when local users are likely to be least active - it may have been router work, rather than the HE link itself. |

Just to add something to the "careful what you wish for" category, I seem to have picked up a lot of work this morning....all shorties !!! PROUD MEMBER OF Team Starfire World BOINC |

It may even be time for a wee bit of panic. I have over 130 AP units waiting for validation, my cache is dwindling, my RAC is falling, (likely due to the 130+ AP units) and I'm in a good mood! RAC is a little problem IMHO. I have 150+ APs waiting for validation. 56 suspended by now. I´m running more beta atm and just hope they will fix the problem some time. With each crime and every kindness we birth our future. |

Only 31 total APs here, 28 of them pending. Can't complain about my RAC, it's at an all time high at ~11k. Should be interesting to see where it goes when the APs finally validate. :-) PROUD MEMBER OF Team Starfire World BOINC |

(I get out of work in about 40 minutes....) I just checked my task list and the only pending AP task I have was sent and finished this morning. I know that I have finished several others in the last couple of weeks, though the ATI card mostly does Collatz. All in all, the other 760 pending units are MB work, mostly from the GTX460. |

I've got 4 APs pending, 1,110 MBs pending, RAC's going through the roof in the last week or so, but I can't upload anything for the last hour. So I can't really complain. I don't buy computers, I build them!! |

Uploads are my current issue, too. Getting HTTP errors and connect() failed. Some WUs get to 100% but time out waiting for the final handshake. Cricket shows a major drop in the upload/incoming traffic about 0900 PDT/1600 UTC, but has been coming back up since about 1130 PDT. But I have just downloaded a couple new WUs for each box, so I'm okay until Monday (I think). Donald Infernal Optimist / Submariner, retired |

The cache on my main rig has been dry for days. Just saw I had 2 GPU units on board. Maybe after I get home I can increase my cache again and get a bunch more. Hate leaving the computer running with nothing to do. Oh well, sometime it will be fixed. Dan |

Can't upload either, on status page all seems OK. |

Yeah, uploads are tough for the kitties too right now. Loosening up just a tad. Have to wait and see how it goes once the AP validation/assimilation thingy completes. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

Things are looking seriously borked at the moment. Upload status shows green, but no uploads are going through. There's no work to be split for MB. Outbound network traffic is maxed out- but i'm not sure by what- maybe AP? However there's only a couple of units ready to send & very little being split and most of the AP assimilators aren't running. EDIT- looks like some uploads are going through, the only problem is i'm producing them faster than they can be returned & the queue just continues to grow. Grant Darwin NT |

Things are looking seriously borked at the moment. AP work always chews up the pipe. The data is about 20 times larger, but only takes 4 or 5 times as long to process on a CPU. With the GPU AP apps it makes the ratio of work size to processing time even larger. As always crunch am if you got em. They will get back home eventually. Which is going to bring the bandwidth issue to the forefront again once GPU crunching on nvidia cards becomes mainstream. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

Tempting fate here, but i just had a couple of dozen Results upload one after the other. It was slow, but they did it without timing out. Grant Darwin NT |
