You're posting again that thing from traceroute.org and it's actually completely uninteresting if they can connect to seti.

If I followed your messages correct, you said that the PC is connected via DSL-Modem to the Inet. You can use the Inet browser for surfing.

If you click here:
http://208.68.240.16 UL
http://208.68.240.13 DL #1
http://208.68.240.18 DL #2 and scheduler
(this was in past)

Here and in an other thread someone mentioned:
http://208.68.240.20
I don't know what's this.

If you click the URLs your browser show then a 'Fedora Test Page'?

If yes, your PC can reach the S@h server.
If BOINC not.., then is something wrong with BOINC.. or maybe a firewall setting special for BOINC..

BTW.
Why DSL-Modem? Every PC have a DSL-Modem?
Why no DSL-Router?

BTW.
Only one or all PCs can't connect to S@h?

It looks like the scheduler got a separate URL now (x.20), not longer together with DL #2 server.

Tried them all no joy.
I Have a modem supplied by my ISP and a Netgear Router.
Looks like My days with S@H are numbered other projects are having fun. :((
All PCs can surf just not get through with BOINC to S@H.

Hmm..
If you think back to the time BOINC could connect well to S@h..
And then BOINC can't connect to S@h.
What had you changed short before at the PC, modem, router and so on.. - or what happened other things, a thunderstorm, power failure, ..?

You had switched off recently all internet hardware (modem, router) for at least ~ 5 or 10 minutes, after BOINC can't connect to S@h?

Are you sure that your firewall allow the URLs?

I have shut down for storms and never had any problems before. Everything checks out OK. Problems started on the 15th (A Wednesday).

If I understand you well, you did not see a Fedora test page on any of the IP's?
But you can, on that same computer post here on the forum?

Did you check both your local settings as well as the settings on the website?

Hmm..
If you are sure that you changed nothing at your hard- & software before the problems started.. - then I would do.. switch off the modem & router for at least ~ 15 minutes. This will empty/refresh all.
Maybe also reboot of the PC.
Then modem & router again on and if the PC/BOINC can't reach S@h.. - I have no idea.

Maybe the last idea.. maybe someone hijacked/attacked your PC.., but this would be strange that someone disabled only the access to S@h.
You have a firewall and anti virus/trojan tools?

How do I check the settings on Their Site?

Go over here:
http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/home.php and then to the preferences of your computer and the preferences of SETI@Home.
Or can't you reach that page either?

I just called my ISP and they are not blocking anything also they have no plans to go with IPv6 in the near future.
They also tried tracing and pinging all of the URL#s and got the same thing that I did and said the problem seems to be with the Hurricane routing.

Jim...
Hang in there a bit.
I have contacted Eric and asked if somebody had time to check into it from their end with Hurricane. No promises, but I made the inquiry.
