Several crunched results from Enhanced 6.03 ready, but unable, to upload
It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues

Well, it's Independence Day in California (Part of USA - I think) and everyone's on a long weekend. We should wait until tomorrow for a fix.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Probably late tomorrow, as I suspect they will undertake the usual Tuesday outage to sort some things before attempting to come back up.

My best guess, anyway.

Yes, California is still part of the USA - but some would like to eject certain parts of the state, as they seem to be off in a world of their own anyway (8{)

I concur. If a remote power cycle/reboot has been tried and didn't fix it, they will probably do the normal Tuesday stuff and then apply their special calibration tools (i.e hammer) before they bring the project back up Tuesday PM.

BTW, I have 4 Tasks waiting to upload, but they are in no danger of missing deadline.
Plenty of beer and bratwurst in the fridge, so I'm not gonna panic before Wednesday.

Yep, someone kicked something back into line. Uploads are going through again, eventually... Not unexpected after even a relatively short amount of downtime.

Is that Wednesday this week or next week?

Since somebody gave the servers a kick around noon today and it worked, I see no reason to even thing about panicing until next week. Going to take that long to recover from this holiday weekend.

After letting my caches drain over the last week or so, I updated my video drivers and updated to Lunatics v0.38 on my 3 PC's, all have been feeding very well indeed to rebuild their caches back up. :D

Cheers.

Inbound network traffic has just taken a significant hit.

EDIT- just noticed, neither of my machines can contact the Scheduler.

For whatever reason, the splitters aren't picking up the pace to churn out the Work Units.

I hope they are just working on the AP database or something. Everything AP is down.

Yeah I did the same on my second machine over this last long weekend. Dried it up and replaced with the newer lunatics and 273.33 drivers from Nvidia. Seems to be a bit faster on the ole' dog.

You might as well ramp up to 275.33........so far, it is a proven winner, especially with the x38g or x39e apps.
Use the x39e if you have any GPU related problems.

Opps that's what I meant(275.33 not 273.33), had a bit of a mistype as I normally do around these parts. ;) BTW where do we find the x39e apps? Everything is running fine here under 38g but it would be nice to know in case the 250 has issues.

Jason released it into the wild in this thread.
Refer to it for the installation instructions as well.
Really quite simple.
