Needed are Linux an Mac users, who are willing to help, that means stick around, until the problems you report are resolved.

In order to run BoincTasks you need to install Wine.

1) Make an instruction manual for Mac. (Please tell here who wants to do this)

Hey, I already had wine 1.2 installed. Was able to run the installer, got it
installed...but it runs into problems.

Hey, I already had wine 1.2 installed. Was able to run the installer, got it
installed...but it runs into problems.

Try updating Wine: I'm not sure you run the latest version.

And... you can run the installer and BoincTasks as a user, no need to run as root.

Strange, my testing platform is Ubuntu.
Got wine by a search in the Software Center, installed the Wine Comparability layer.
And install BoincTasks as user, just by clicking on the installer.

I tried to add one, but as soon as I click out of the computer tab, it spams me with about 15 windows saying to check the log for error details. No log accessible that I can find.

Wine version is 1.2.2 and being run through xQuartz instead of X11.

It does work fine in Virtualbox though, running Win-7.

I've compiled and installed Wine and I've installed BOINCTasks 1.08 Beta (32 bit) after that. It seems to work without problems though I have to admit that my setup is rather simple (only one BOINC box).

*For my PG CUDA work although I build the 32 bit BOINC libs for the faster (than their 64 bit counterparts) 32 bit PG CUDA apps manually.

Now you are giving me something to work with.
That's a BoincTasks Popup telling it can't write to that location.

You can probably solve this by going to Extra->BoincTasks Settings->Expert.
And click Override default (xml) Folder.
Fill in a folder that's valid on your machine.
