I'm able to upload... I'm able to download... I can report in... All my cores have plenty of work... Even my laptop is happy and not complaining about anything... Something must be up - the project can't be running this smooth... :)

No, that was an issue with BOINC v6.12.32, which was withdrawn from testing before being released to the public.

My downloads are working albeit a bit off and on. We are still in the middle of a shorty storm and that a bunch of them were noisy, makes it really hard on the servers. Everyone is turning in a lot of work and trying to refill their caches.

(or would that be chacheii Richard? :-) )

Funny you should ask that. My stepfather was a consultant to the Oxford English Dictionary on computing terminology, and I inherited his complimentary copy of the Shorter OED. No plural given, though it reminds us (as I'm sure we all knew already), that a cache is something hidden away - from the French cacher, to hide.

It'll have to wait until the weekend before I can look it up in his copy of the full OED.

Maybe it falls under the same category as moose. One moose, two moose, a whole
herd of moose.

His cache, her cache, their cache, and together they have more than one cache.

Speaking of cache...

Not able to report, or upload. Not only is the server status page dead, the cricket graph is dead also: http://fragment1.berkeley.edu/newcricket/grapher.cgi?target=/router-interfaces/inr-250/gigabitethernet2_3&ranges=d%3Aw&view=Octets

EDIT: Cricket graph not dead, but slow to update.

The Server status page is no longer dead, it's now up to date.

At the time I looked at it, [As of 16 Jun 2011 | 21:40:10 UTC], the upload server is Disabled.

And of course we must all blame Michael for jinxing everything. lol :)
