My downloads are working albeit a bit off and on. We are still in the middle of a shorty storm and that a bunch of them were noisy, makes it really hard on the servers. Everyone is turning in a lot of work and trying to refill their caches. (or would that be chacheii Richard? :-) ) PROUD MEMBER OF Team Starfire World BOINC |

(or would that be chacheii Richard? :-) ) Funny you should ask that. My stepfather was a consultant to the Oxford English Dictionary on computing terminology, and I inherited his complimentary copy of the Shorter OED. No plural given, though it reminds us (as I'm sure we all knew already), that a cache is something hidden away - from the French cacher, to hide. It'll have to wait until the weekend before I can look it up in his copy of the full OED. |

(or would that be chacheii Richard? :-) ) Maybe it falls under the same category as moose. One moose, two moose, a whole herd of moose. His cache, her cache, their cache, and together they have more than one cache. Speaking of cache... - Baroque - When you have no Monet... Not able to report, or upload. Not only is the server status page dead, the cricket graph is dead also: http://fragment1.berkeley.edu/newcricket/grapher.cgi?target=/router-interfaces/inr-250/gigabitethernet2_3&ranges=d%3Aw&view=Octets EDIT: Cricket graph not dead, but slow to update. And of course we must all blame Michael for jinxing everything. lol :) SETI@home classic workunits: 93,865 CPU time: 863,447 hours Join the [url=http://tinyurl.com/8y46zvu]BP6/VP6 User Group[ |
