SLI and bad computed WU's

Hey all I have been running Seti units for a long time with no problems then yesterday i installed an extra Gfx card in SLI mode and since then my Seti gets f..u. ! all units computed by the GFx cards are now "bad", also i noted that my PC now are slow like hell when running Seti !! any clues ?? PC spec processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 860 @ 2.80GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.8GHz Memory: 4096MB RAM Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS 512 (two in SLI) Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (6.1, Build 7600) Motherboard: ASUS P5E Cheers and happy crunching |

thx 4 answer ! Ill try disable SLI when running SETI, but i would be sad if i have to downgrade the drivers (running 270.61) Cheers and happy crunching |

You don't have a choice, if you want to do WU's on GFX in time. ;-) The new drivers come with CUDA 4.0 to deal with WU's. After some time the driver crashes and the system will restart the the gfx driver. Most of the GPU's then are clocked constantly down to medium Power and Performance level and will slow dramaticly down. You can use Tools like GPU-Z or others to check this out.
