Who to identify the interesting work-units?

In Classic-Seti and with the help of SetiSpy application, we were able to identify the interesting workunits (green color in the skymap). Is there an algorithm to identify them in the BOINC-Seti too? What do we need to search and calculate in the result file of a workunit that make it interesting? Thanks and Keep crunching! |

One of the possibilities is using BoincLogX. It can be downloaded here. In combination with Mapview, you can ask for the details of spikes, gaussians, pulses and triplets. |

Thanks but I'm not asking for an application to do that. Which data from the result file can make out that a workunit is interesting? |

For example, in SetiSpy source there is a: Result := (Fit > 0) and (PeakPower > 0) and (Fit and from ? Can someone -inside the Project, maybe Ron- tell me that the above is correct? Thanks |
