I have no way of editing my , wheather or not I want people to see my computers or not . This should be in edit preferences but is not avail to or in there to change it . Why.

From the home page select "Your Account", then under "Preferences" and "SETI@home" select "View/Edit. One of the options there is "Should SETI@home show your computers on its web site?". Select "Edit SETI@home preferences". You should now be able to change this setting to "Yes" or "No" as preferred, then select "Update preferences" to save the change.

It's possible that the problems they are having with the server might mean it will take a while before the change is reflected in the information available on the website.
