Have you had a read of the MSI forums? Claggy |

Yeah, came up empty. I really don't think it is their problem anyway. I'm convinced it is a driver or BOINC issue. |

You could try an experiment by trying out these two old V12b apps, and see if GPU usage increases, you won't be able to run them on any Fermi GPU's, and they haven't got the reliability improvements of x32f: CUDA MB V12b for multi-GPU multicore hosts. I ran the V12b_x4 version for a while as the ATI Hybrid Astropulse app made Stock 6.09 and V12 slow to a crawl, Claggy |

I dont see how that will help. They work great by themselves, its just when I introduce the 250 that everything goes to s___t. |

MSI sent me an experimental BIOS V.1.5B3. No change in the slightest. |

I dont see how that will help. They work great by themselves, its just when I introduce the 250 that everything goes to s___t. I had the same issue about a month ago with an 8800 and a 250. Thought I had a dieing PSU. Tested it out it was ok. Thought it was the drivers....tested them out separately they were ok. Ended up being the 8800 was going out and it finally died with Code 10 errors in Windows. Waiting on a return from eVGA now. Have you tried stress testing each card individually? Yes, they are all work perfectly individually. |

Not a fix, but a step in the right direction. Now, with nVidia driver 270.32, all cards are properly detected without SLI enabled. System seems stable, however, GPU loading is still quite low with the GTS250 plugged in. Removing the GTS250 returns GPU loading to notmal on the other 4 GPU cores. Note: 270.32 is a component of the upcoming CUDA SDK 4.0 and only available to those registered as developers with nVidia. This process takes a couple of days and does not cost anything. I highly recommend everyone fill out the form if they want to experiment with the latest software. |

Slightly off topic, but I highly recommend everyone replace the 3.x cudart and cufft DLLs with their respective v.4.0 versions. This provided a significant performance increase on my rig. It appears nVidia has been busy doing some more optimizations. |

cufft and cudart are both libraries referenced by the SETI application. They are part of the CUDA toolkit and used by SETI for GPU tasks. nVidia just released the CUDA 4.0 toolkit to registered developers. Within this toolkit are new cudart and cufft files. You can copy them into your seti program folder (c:\ProgramData\BOINC\projects\setiathome.berkeley.edu\ on a windows 7 box) then edit the app_info.xml file and change the exact name of the files to match. |

All you have to do is fill out the form and wait a couple of days. They really just approve everyone. If you dont want to do that, just private message me your email and i can send you the files. Just make sure to tell me whether or not you are running 32 or 64 bit. |

Just make sure to tell me whether or not you are running 32 or 64 bit. You can put the 4 files (for 32 and 64 bit) in a .rar or .zip and Upload the .rar here (no registration needed): http://www.datafilehost.com/ Then post the download link given by Datafilehost.com  - ALF - "Find out what you don't do well ..... then don't do it!" :)  |

I'm sending them to one of my Amazon S3 buckets. Don't bother sending me your email address. I will post the URLs here when I am done uploading. |
