Many long years and just a few computers later.........
Meanwhile, I was stilllllllllll crunching.

I only lost one kitty during the duration.....my beloved Tigger.
And Lori's Oscar. and Shadow.

Kinda strange when time has to be measured in kitties, eh?

But it's true.....and my Squirrel is on her last legs too.

Many moons come Shachtow.......

Long time from the 233 mmx I started with.

Many trials and tribulations. I am still here.
Like I said, 'till the last dog is hung, or the last WU is split, I shall be here.

The kitties have done this all themselves....LOL. Or at least not I without them.
100 million. Only the 11th person in Seti post classic history to have done so.

My, my, my.

Kibble's on me...........

That is quite a lot of credits! Well done Mark!

(edit) I see your RAC 186935 (currently rising) is a little more than my total contribution 178270!

A fantastic effort, good stuff! Much congrats.

And a few adventures along the way.

We've seen the frozen 'penny' and a further few frozen monsters since... There's now the new age of GPU crunchin'...

Next 100 million via a frozen GPU?...

Happy fast crunchin'!

Aw, heck.....that nomenclature is far overrated these days.....
There are many crunchers doing more speed than I am just on air. The architecture has overtaken the sledgehammer approach to overclocking.

They just don't need it anymore, because the power dissipation in the core with the smaller structures just don't require it.

I am running a 920 a 4.1Ghz.......I have seen reports of newer chippys running faster with air cooling. When I first did it, there was quite an advantage. I got speeds nobody could touch on air. No longer true.

The kittyman is now a dinosaur. But I will keep on crunching even though I can't afford to be on the cutting edge anymore.

I'll leave it to you young kittens now.

It's been a fun ride though.

I did have my moments in the kibble bowl.

I can't believe that!

Is not your monster frozen finger adaptable to super-charging the GHz for a GPU?...

For that, you might not even need to freeze the CPU provided there's enoughh bandwidth to keep everything fed...

Happy fast crunchin',
Martin
