Is it me or the media just don't talk about Iraqi interim Prime Minister Relatives Taken Hostage By Ansar al-Jihad ? Usually when hostage got taken dead line were imposed if you don't do this or that, the media use to cover it, especialy when when the dead line is passed. Could it be another proof that what we see on the news media is "controlled" ? I mean it's a big story ! why no one is talking about it ? |

> I would say Arafat took over as the big news Yea but at the same time CNN spent about an hour talking about Vice president at hospital, for nothing. D'ont worry when they want you to know something there is always a place in between headlines for it. Lets face it. Iraqi interim Prime Minister Relatives Taken Hostage is not a good news for those who promote or want you to believe in some kind security and stability in Irak. I mean it's not mister Joe the truck driver who've been kidnaped, It's members of the prime minister familly ! It just shows that the Iraki government doesn't control anything. Very bad publicity... |

The damand was to stop the assault on Fallujah; the Prime Minister would not do it. |

Someone over at the Flame of the Day thread posted this site: Mideast History I read the post-WWII history, and I think I got it mostly right. |

Richard, what did you mean by someone at the Religious Thread influencing me? Sorry if I'm being very dense about this. |

"Schwarzenegger for President" would be the final nail in the coffin of RepugliKKKans destroying America. They will circumvent the will of the "Founding Fathers" not only to take rights away from gays (and everyone else they don't like), but to just put a foreigner on the ballot because they think he can win. As a prof in Germany told me on a recent visit --- "the US should bear in mind what happened to us when we let an Austrian run things!" What a third-world country the US has become. Oh well, at least the $ is tanking so my Christmas visit my £ will go much further. |
