You nd both. I've had all this week off, and other than all the stuff that had to happen, it's been very relaxing. If there hadn't been so much stuff that had to happen, I would have relaxed much more. Even though I love myjob, I'm not looking forward to going back!

Since my last post, a huge snow squall just popped up. I just mowed the front yard, so the birds can get to the food I scatter on the ground. I loaded the feeders, and scattered a lot on the ground, came inside, and poof! There's snow. I love drinking beer and watching the snow! Hopefully with this wildlife camera I'll get some good shots now that the feeders are loaded.

Im not to enthralled with my job. The company is more into the punishment then the training aspect. I run CNC machines making parts. I understand we cant make scrap. But if you make more than two hours worth of scrap in a year you get fired. You cant even make say like 15 minutes here 15 minutes there. it all adds up in a 8 hour shift. Lots of damn stress. I like time off of work. 4 more years and I might just say im dome and retire.

Wow that is stressful! 1 hour worth of scrap is really tiny. A simple "oops" can produce more than that. You need another beer!

I hear that Bill! I used to live in Virginia, where it doesn't snow much at all. I used to hang out in the park, and watch the people slide and bang into each other. Here in New Hampshire, the road crews are excellent, and most people know how to drive in the snow. I just put studded snow tires on my Jeep, so I am ready for anything!

I've been drving in it since I was 16, and only spun off the road once. Minimal damage though. The best rule, is never lose patience, and always leave more room than you think you need. I just realized my rig was back throttling, so I had to open a window. This thing is going to save me a lot of oil...

I used to do about 1 360 per season. It would slide, go sideways, ... so I would just gas it around the rest of the way. Usually snow banks kept it from getting off the road completely.

There is always a right time to gas it. It works really well on rear wheele drive. You come up to a parking space, give it a little gas, and drive straight in. I used to go to empty parking lots, and just practice evasive maneuvers in the snow. That way I knew exactly how the vehicle would respond in slippery conditions, so I was ready when the storms hit.
