For those that care: Well, we left Friday Morning, and got here yesterday afternoon. SO! I survived the trip east. Both of us were pretty well wiped out, but we were able to put a full day in cleaning up the yard today... Something about, if you don't work, you don't eat ... And for those that don't care ... I am still in Connecticut ... |

Congratulations Paul! Your there and you still have a way to connect to the Internet. I think you mentioned that you were going to shut down all your machines running SETI. That must have been painful. |

I will answer all before in this one... Actually, I left them on. She grimaced, but did not over rule me. I am using my daughter's computer and I will be here in the fora as it is a nice relaxing thing for me to do. Much easier than loading branches into a truck (that is what I did today ...). Though I cannot work on my pages. So, I will be taking it easy and spending a lot of time reading and thinking. I will be watching the football games too. It was a nice trip. My son-in-law drove and we only started getting on each other's nerves on the last day. :) I had a lot of trouble walking though, that was the only downer. But I could walk well enough that I could wlak the kinks out each time we stopped. ANd he was good about that too, even the couple of times I needed a break 30 min after the last one. I am still getting settled in, but I have a nice room and they both will be working so I will have most of the day to myself. On the trip I got a chance to look, and each time I looked there was scenery all over the place ... :) The trees are still turning. And I think I will get to see snow before I leave to go home .. |
