I have recently install Windows XP in my PC. But when my PC start, its showing the error "Disk Book Failure". I have checked the hard disk with different computer as well, its working fine then what's the problem with it.

I can't tell you what the problem is either, but I can tell you that the error message probably is "Disk Boot Failure" and that you are here on the wrong forum. This is for questions and answers about SETI@home, not windows.

The Help Desk forums allow posting without credit, as how else can you ask for help when you can't get the program set up to crunch and gain credit?

Only the "main" forums, Number Crunching, Tech News, Cafe etc. require that you have a RAC that's more than one. Those are forums for active crunchers. So even you can get caught out there, if you stop crunching and your RAC gets below 1. Then you won't be able to post in those forums either, not even if you have 6 trillion credits gathered.
