while idly looking through my pending list I found three tasks from May 12th (e.g. 611463594) where both results have been reported but are still showing as waiting for validation.
I was just wondering whether they've become stuck or something and will evetually be cleaned up or whether I'm looking at some kind of problem.

This happens from time to time, and with all the recent upheavals, I'm not surprised it's happening now. It's probably a relatively low priority for the staff to look into manually just at the moment: but IIRC, there's an automatic re-check at the time of the original deadline (27 Jun 2010 13:54:14 UTC, in your case). Hang on till then: if it's still unvalidated, remind us again and we'll see if the panic in the server closet has died down a bit.

Tell me about it! I'm trying to pluck up courage to go out and fetch some lunch. At least it's not like Wednesday: gales, rain, clouds down to the tree-tops....

I'll wait till next month then to see if they require some serious prodding. With the current problems I certainly don't want to add to the workload with this minor annoyance.

Status: Computation error

On the good side: It flagged itself as a Computation error. So at least
it should be going back flagged as "Uh my brain hurts"

27 June 2010 it is - and it looks like the WU has validated. It's good that this particular failsafe still seems to be working, while everything else is falling down around our ears.

One thing I forgot to say is that, having validated, the WU will probably now be purged quickly (24 hours from 13:54:14 UTC today), so I'll preserve the evidence in case the OP checks back next month.

Mine's been sitting over the 100K mark for months now so you have nothing to worry about. :)
