well i still think the duck might just tip over. I don't think the duck would be quacking for long. He'd fall prey to something eventually. It couldn't fly forever, and it couldn't land, or even walk right. And if definitely couldn't swim. |

Yes, but the duck could still float. And if it floats, it must be made out of wood. So, therefore .... |

What would happen if the duck lost its quacker? I will say that after all this time, we are talking about a tired duck! |

What would happen if the duck lost its quacker? I don't think the duck would hav ever made it past the duckling stage. And please nobody mention aromatic crispy duck for at least two weeks... Carola ------- I'm multilingual - I can misunderstand people in several languages! |

the next question, what would happen if the other ducks leg was missing what would it do? Missed this one the first time around... if you really meant "the other ducks leg was missing" then you have two ducks with one leg each. Thus the question is reduced to the previous solutions. BUT if you meant "the ducks other leg was missing" then you have ground duck, as shown above. |

the next question, what would happen if the other ducks leg was missing what would it do? Does ground duck make for a good sandwich? What kind of spread do you use? Official Abuser of Boinc Buttons... And no good credit hound! |

I am certain that it could compensate and swim where ever it wanted to. However, it could not fly. I know (I've done it to my down ducks) that simply clipping the tip of one of its wing feathers will prevent flight due to the un-even lift. If you clip both it can fly again. The loss of a leg would result in a change in the center of gravity so it would prevent flight. if it move its leg to balance it will fly wing clipping is common to stop birds flying but one leged birds can flt |

It would land in still water near a waterfall, Then launch from the waterfall. |

Brilliant solution Jim_S You just impressed the hell out of me I do not fight fascists because I think I can win. I fight them because they are fascists. Chris Hedges A riot is the language of the unheard. -Martin Luther King, Jr. |
