You know, these web-pages are searchable by means of the Google Search Engine. So why not put in a "s" right here: http://home.ssl.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=27478 Pule -> Pulse :) |

Why don't you ask the originator of the thread to change its title? Gruß, Gundolf Computer sind nicht alles im Leben. (Kleiner Scherz) SETI@home classic workunits 3,758 SETI@home classic CPU time 66,520 hours |

Because you can not edit your own posts after a short period of time (1 hour or less). An edit on this word would make that page nicer. |

As far as I know, the header can be modified anytime. And forum moderators can't change posts/threads either, only hide or lock them. Gruß, Gundolf |

As far as I know, the header can be modified anytime. No, only after you as original poster made a new post to the thread, then edit that post. Then the title change is available. And forum moderators can't change posts/threads either, only hide or lock them. Moderators have Hide/Unhide, Make sticky/Make unsticky/, Lock/Unlock, Move (to other forum) and Title buttons on threads, with the addition to Hide/Unhide, Move (to other thread) and in some projects Banish author buttons on posts. |

I could change the title but that thread died about 4 years ago. thread typically get locked after 60 days of being idle. Changing the title now would be pointless In a rich man's house there is no place to spit but his face. Diogenes Of Sinope |
