If I'm not wrong the classic version of seti@home can run as service on windows. But I cann't do this with BOINC version. I want to run it as service when I logout the windows.

when installing classic version of seti it can allow you to run as service, but i didn't find this option on BOINC version.

so... help!

The "service mode" is now called "Protected Application Execution mode" in the installer (advanced selection).

However, that mode won't be installable on domain controllers. On those, you'll have to revert to BOINC version 5.10.45 (download link).

Note that if you ever upgrade your video card to one that will do the crunching, the service install cannot access the video card.
