LOL. I was bored, there was a spam email in my inbox. I couldn't resist.
Lets see where I can take this over the next few days.

Original Message From Spammer:
Dear

With due respect and with God all thing were possible that is why I call for help to please Permit me to inform you of my desire of going into business relationship with you.
I am the only son of late Mr Michael Radci, My father was a very wealthy cocoa merchant in Abidjan the economic capital of Ivory coast, my father was poisoned to death by his business associates on the first of January 2007 on their outing for the new year celebration.

My mother died when I was a baby and since then my father took me so special.
Before the death of my father on january 2007 in a private hospital here in Abidjan he secretly called me on his bed side and told me that he has the sum of 9 million United State Dollars. US(9.m) left in fixed /suspense account in one of the prime bank here in Abidjan that he used my name as his only son for the next of Kin in Depositing of the fund.
He told me that I should seek for a foreign partner in a country of my choice where i will transfer this money into and use it for investment purpose such as real estate management or hotel management and also for orphanages, helping the widows, propagating the word of God and to endeavour that the house of God is maintained and building companies where poor God people can work and have their daily feedings with their families.
I pray to God to grant you more blessing to your business and for making up your mind that you will be doing this for the denefit of the people who are in need. i know that God will see you through.
I am honourably seeking your assistance in the
following ways:

(1) To provide a new bank account in where this money
would be transferred into.
(2) To serve as a guardian of this fund since I am
only 22 years old.
(3) To make arrangement for me to come over to your
country to further my education and to secure a
resident permit in your country.
Moreover, I am willing to offer you 25% of the total sum as compensation for your effort/input after the successful transfer of this fund into your nominated account overseas.
All the necessary arrangement has been made at the bank where my late father deposited this money and the Director of the bank told me that as soon as an account of my choice is forwarded to their bank that
they will transfer this money to my destination.
Thanks and God bless you.
Best regards,

John Michael.

To which I replied:
Hi John,
Just before we proceed, did you watch the Super Bowl? And who makes the
iPhone? I'd like you to answer those questions so I know I'm talking to a
human and not a computer.

Regards,
Luke.

To which I recieved a reply:
call me for your questions ok +22544957435
Thanks
John Michael

To which I replied again:
Hi Michael,
I'm on an iPhone user plan, and I am charged for calling overseas. I currently cannot do this. Can we not discuss it over email? What is your home address?

Regards,
Luke.

I await a reply. Any suggestions on how to proceed for my fun? :)

LOL, I did that once with a spam FBI e-mail i got. The english was so poor i knew right off it was bogus. Plus they accused me on shady dealings with a pay pal account. Tip # 2 i dont have pay pal. SO Just for a lark i E-mailed them back and asked if i could pass along there E-mail to the real FBI?

You know they actually had the balls to E-mail a nasty threat. The Gist of the threat was I better be more cooperative or they would sieze my pay pal account. I replyed that the Real FBI would love getting this E-mail. Never heard back from them.

I only wonder if they put you on a hachers list if you mess with them. good luck in you fun.

Proposal (following an advice of a journalist facing the same problem} :

Dear John,

Due to financial and economical crisis there are no good opportunities for investments anymore in my country.

The only good investment that I can recommend to you is the Luke Enterprises. To my opinion Luke Enterprises is an outstanding performer.
I heard that Luke Enterprises is looking for a descreete investor who is interested in buying a tranche of shares in an off-exchange deal.
The offer is time-limited. The value of the package is estimated by insiders at 9 million USD.

Luke

Careful there, That's getting close to SEC territory here in the US(US Securities and Exchange Commission). I hear they take things like that, Very seriously.

I didn't say anything about Luke(in Particular), OzzFan and I'd think most responsible nations have their equivalent to the SEC somewhere.

I still prefer a few good Rocks, Nothing real big, Just meteor crater big or about 50 meters (54 yards) across should do. Caveman style. :D

Meteor Crater lies at an elevation of about 1,740 m (5,709 ft) above sea level. It is about 1,200 m (4,000 ft) in diameter, some 170 m deep (570 ft), and is surrounded by a rim that rises 45 m (150 ft) above the surrounding plains. The center of the crater is filled with 210–240 m (700–800 ft) of rubble lying above crater bedrock.[5] One of the interesting features of the crater is its squared-off outline, believed to be caused by pre-existing regional jointing (cracks) in the strata at the impact site.

If you want to give a Spammer the run around you should look at this web site first. Make sure you read the warnings and also note that the trophy room may not be fully 'G" rated.

It was a good place to get the scouts out of the cars on the way to the Grand Canyon. We did Meteor Crater one direction and Petrified Forest / Painted Desert the other.

Just got this in the mail:

Dearest Luke,

Thanks for your mail and your concern to me, honestly speaking I read your mail with sense of understanding and I appreciate your wiliness to assist me in handling this noble transaction, after reading your mail. I went straight to the bank were my late father deposited the money to introduce you to the bank as my legal guardian and my family trustee relative who will assist me to transfer the money $9 million dollars to overseas for investment program, the bank manager said that the bond agreement my late father held with the bank during the deposit of the money guided the money intact, for that reason we cannot access the money here due to its fix deposit account (Suspense Account), according to the bank manger he said that before we will access money until its transferred to a foreign account abroad, into any foreign account you will provide to the bank.

Dear Luke, for us to proceed further without much delaying please confirms to me this following information below as soon as possible.

1. If the 25% which I have decided to offer you for your assistance is acceptable by you to avoid any argument in future.

2. Your full name and your resident address.

3. Your telephone, mobile phone and fax number for easy communication.

4. Your photo, age and occupation

5. That you will maintain the Top Secret of this transaction between us only!

As soon as I receive your confirmation and your information I will go to the bank again and submit it to the bank manager and also well introduce him, and also give you the bank details to enable you reach the bank and confirm the existence of the money and also discuss with the bank manager directly concerning the smooth transfer of the money to your custody for investment purpose.

Sir, I hope this letter will meet you in a good health and also merit your sense of understanding, please send me yours details and photo too.

I will stop here and wait for your urgent response.

Luke,
what Mark said is somewhat on the trail. Ask them to explain the tax consequences to you. Their country, New Zeeland and possibly your local and county tax. That should keep them thinking.

Well, I've decided on my reply... thx Uli for the inspiration about tax laws.
Hi John...
I agree to all conditions, except I do not own a home phone (telephone) myself. Just a mobile. I also don't own a fax.
I am looking forward to the transaction between us only. What country are you located in? What about tax laws???

Regards,
Luke.

I have also received alot of PM's about 419eater.com.... I'll reply to those PM's shortly.
