Location of BOINC Data File

I need to move the location of the BOINC Data File on one of my computers. Where does BOINC Manager store the location of the Data File at so I can modify the location? OS: WinXP Thanks in advance for the help! |

It's not a file, it's a directory. The path to the BOINC data directory is shown in the Messages tab of BOINC manager after a restart (reboot). The easiest way to relocate the data directory is

Thank's for the reply Gundolf. My mistake, I do know it is a Directory, not a file. I do see the location listed in the Messages tab of BOINC Manager during bootup. But where does BOINC Manager store this information at? Can the location be edited without re-installing BOINC Manager? ![]() |

The paths for the BOINC directory and BOINC Data directory are stored in the registry, at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Space Sciences Laboratory, U.C. Berkeley\BOINC Setup |
