They just latched the door. 90 minutes to go. Alas, weather is still NO-GO for clouds, hoping for a gap at launch time.

Launch stream here --> NASA TV.

PS: No politics tonight, lets just cross fingers and enjoy if they light the candle tonight :)

That should be the last built-in hold. The sliderule boys will make their final determination on go/no-go, then they'll pop the cork... or not. But it does look promising at this point.

LOL! I'm impressed that you knew what one was! If you use that term around the younger set these days you usually get blank stares.... or they ask where the batteries go. :)

Batteries not included<-(there was some software by that name at one time too). Yeah I know what they are, But I've never used them, I even had one once, Don't know what happened to It though, lost in a move I suspect, Just as well. :D

Hey I'm 49, I've seen quite a bit, Now If the weather will allow the Shuttle to Punch It's Card out, So they can light that huge excuse for a Roman Candle(the Saturn V made the Shuttle look dim by comparison though). ;)

I swear the Sliderule must a step or so removed from an Abacus.

Oh and Thanks.

Best place to watch it is spacevidcast on USTREAM. Much better quality than NASA TV.
It's where I'm watching tonight.

On Dish It's NASA, But I've got My 57" TV tweaked, So It's almost as good as HD on the NASA channel(I adjusted It Myself), Besides I have a small 1M/384K connection here. :D

I was wondering if there would be one of those funky Norwegian light spirals following it up and out.
