Oh and the Electric Car?

It ain't so dead GM, You and Chevron tried and FAILED, Cause It's back... ;p

FRANKFURT MOTOR SHOW: FORD FOCUS BATTERY ELECTRIC VEHICLE PROTOTYPE WITH NO COMPROMISE IN SIZE

Charging the batteries will take between six to eight hours using a common 230 volt grid.

Ford readies mix of all-electric and plug-in hybrids

On a regular U.S. 110-volt outlet, a battery that size would require a 12-hour charge to replenish. Although it's not necessary, people could install a 220-volt outlet at home to cut charge time in half or plug in at public places, like malls or offices, Frenette said. He said ultimately, two-hour charges are possible and safe.

FORD is doing what GM failed to even want to do in 2011, FORD will mass produce the FORD Focus BEV(Battery Electric Vehicle) and from what I've read the car will have a range of 100 miles between chargings. Oh and this car does use Lithium-Ion batteries, Bah Hum Bug to GM, But then GM wouldn't allow their EV1 to become profitable as at one point the EV1 had a range of 140-160miles on a charge(They made only 1100 while plotting to kill the ZEV Requirement in CA and bribed a CARB Official with a the position of the Fuel Cell Institute), Maybe FORD and Magna can in future years increase the range and/or decrease the charging time, Magna makes the Battery powered car possible of course and saved FORD time and money with their technology.

3 Cheers for FORD and Magna!!!

Electric Ford Focus is the Car for Stars on “The Jay Leno Show”

GM and Chevron thought they killed the Electric Car, Well FORD disagrees and says by making the FORD Focus BEV: We'll do what You won't...

Thanks to my friends.

I´m close running away.
I feel ashamed.
Sorry for everything i did wrong.

Geez Mike....
If my friends will forgive some of the things I have done and said on these forums, you got nothing to be ashamed of.
That's what friends are for.

Any comments?

From what I've read this car should be competitive with the VOLT, Read less costly.

More details emerge on Ford’s upcoming electric compact
