It's got to be Dr. Who for me - although the New Doctor, Matt Smith, has yet to prove himself.

Where exactly is the fire station located at? Is it still around?

It should still be on Wardlow Rd(Long Beach CA) or 223rd St(City of Carson) right near the 405fwy and the 710fwy, Now one won't find John or Gage there, But I'm sure their real life counter parts will be there, Unless LA County closed the place cause of budget cuts of course. Specifically between Santa Fe Ave and the Rail yard.

All 3 CSI's
Both NCIS
SVU
Stargate:Universe.

I'm waiting for CSI:Elevator Inspectors

At the moment, Dollhouse.

... and when Dollhouse ends, I hope someone buys a new show from Joss.

Babalyon 5
TOS
Dragnet
Rowan & Martin's Laugh In
TNG
And I suppose The News although that might not be a series.

Of the dreck on today
CSI
NCIS
Law and Order
News

And a note, when TOS was on, I'd arrange to be sure to be in front of the box when it came on, Today, I don't mind missing an episode of a fave at all. Just not compelling stuff on anymore.

Yeah I heard that, Sunday can be dull as dishwater(I think on Sunday washing dishes might be more interesting), I liked Babylon 5 also and It's successor Crusade.

A good start would be everything produced by Jack Webb, Irwin Allen, and Quinn Martin.

Mythbusters.

Of shows no longer around (at least not in Canada):

James Burke's Connections
Pure mathematics is, in its way, the poetry of logical ideas.

That is the first program I remember watching when we (my parents) got our first television set. Memorable music.

Yeah, They don't often make music like that anymore.
