Well, that makes 10, so let's see how this shakes out...

For starters, I had to have a special mini-race to pick my favorite SuperJoker entry to include in the competition. :-)

After completing that phase of the melt-off, things shook out like this:

Tied for third place, the wonderfully paired entries from

Bill Walker and James Sotherden:
The rare Peruvian mini-polar bear stealthily awaits its prey.
The yellow stain in the snow gave away his stealthy position.

Second place, for a pleasantly humorous take on the situation

Carlos
Kitty stayed in the tree too long.

And in First place, wonderful and immediately free-associated
