Just uploaded 4 tasks sucessfully, about 5 minutes later BOINC asked for new work.
I checked my Tasks page and all 4 tasks have the outcome "Validate Error".
It seems that there is currently a problem at the server side.

Haven't seen these kind of UPload errors, before!
The other hosts have troubles UPLoading, too.

Yup, I noticed the same with 3 (out of 4) of my uploaded Wu's. I mentioned this in the thread "Panic Mode On (27) Server problems"
I have suspended all network activity in Boinc for the time being, to avoid wasting any more WU's waiting to upload.

Haven't seen these kind of UPload errors, before!
I have seen those errors before, after a normal weekly outage. It doesn't happen after all normal weekly outages, but it does happen after some.

Thanks for the replies, I saw other reports in the "Panic" thread, but I started this one so that some people may want to Suspend Network activity until this problem is resolved, otherwise their work may be wasted, as Validate Errors are a server side problem, nothing wrong with the work done by the client. |

Not all ULed/reported results of after the outage go in 'validate errors' status.
Also if a 'wingman' report his ULed results now, this will give my old (before the outage) ULed/reported results a 'validate error' status.
Validate error's of my PCs:
[GPU cruncher]
[QX6700]
Current no 'validate error' at my QX6700, but the time will tell..

Out of about 60 tasks I got one validate error, still a lot of pending though.
Make that about 40.

I now have 5 Validate errors in my tasks also. Not sure how many uploads or tasks have been reported this evening.
Isn't this one of the errors that is corrected by running a script file? Seems like Validate errors have been a widespread problem before...

Thankfully, I don't have any validate errors yet - look here , but i can't get any new WU to download at all... I haven't had any SETI tasks for about 35 hours now and am getting a message

Seti went from Cold Iron to trying to catch up... This was on someone(s) time when they were forced to take time off..
So many things have to catch up. Right now they are in a state of flux...
Few things should get lost...

I hope the 'validate error do again well script' will be used (again, like in past).. for to protect the science/results (and Credits) for 'deletion'.

ALL my crunching during the outage have now been uploaded and ALL have been marked as VALIDATE ERROR even though the credits claimed seem to be right.
No credit has been granted at all after every task has been uploaded.
It seems that all work done is lost, unless these tasks are to be corrected.
My statistics show ZERO increase in Total Credits, which is in keeping with the assumption that ALL tasks have been discarded for the duration of the outage.

I got the same transient upload error messages, but I also noticed that the files did upload correctly later.

Everybody needs to calm down and be patient.
@Skywalker66 - you were never promised work and you were also never promised that the work would validate either. It's not about the credits, it's about the science.
As to the transient uploads - the veterans here will know them. They have happened before and will fix themselves as the servers aren't put under so much strain.
As for the validate errors, I have 2 of them. Matt will probably be able to fix them...

I guess, the ratio RAC/validate errors is for everybody the same.
But the result is different.
To now I have 56 'validate error's..
Hmm.. maybe I could/should be more sad than others?
Sure, other think this are peanuts for me..
I lost to now maybe ~ 300,000 or 400,000 Cr. because of unplanned server outages at Berkeley. Because of unreachable servers.. and so on..
But, this RAC is not from nothing..
I payed the equipment and every month I must pay the electricity bill.

That's right. Also I don't want to be asked for spending money. I can't buy slice of bread for the credits which I (don't) get and nobody spends me money to buy food or to pay my bills.
