This article deals with discussion forums that seem inevitably to contain a large number of threads, many of which could be condensed to form more cohesive groups. The result of the authors' work is stable, focused, dynamic discussion threads that avoid redundant ideas and engage thousands of stakeholders.

whats your point. we currently have mods that can figure out if threads need merging and and thread dormant for more than 60 days is locked automatically
