I installed the latest version on my laptop and desktop, both running Vista,(Basic on laptop, home prem. on desktop). It works fine on laptop, but won't start on desktop. The only other thing I've done in the same time frame was to update windows live messenger on both. I tried deleting that and no difference. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've stopped listening; why haven't you stopped talking? |

I just tried re-installing, now, I'm getting a dialog box that says "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is not available." It's looking for a file, "boinc.msi" in c:\windows\downloadedInstallations\{2AB8F...}. When I go to that dir., it's empty. A search of the HD turns up no file named boinc.msi. OK; I spent all afternoon digging through the FAQ's and never saw that one.\; thanks More important, thanks for the quick reply; it worked, and boinc is working on both computers now. I've stopped listening; why haven't you stopped talking? |

You're welcome. :-) I'm having a very bad reaction to the flu jab, which is why I am awake in the middle of my night. ;-) |
