I'm pretty sure I didn't have another limerick inside me... My baby brother is getting married this evening, but Eric and I have to show up early for family pictures. The bride is my co-worker, and yes... I deserve credit for matchmaking here. I think my matchmaking skills are pretty good, since I've had two matches result in marriages. Eric, ever the scientist, says my skills in this area are TERRIBLE when you factor in just how many matches I've tried to put together that HAVEN'T gone to the altar. In preparation for this day, I have just returned from a salon "day of beauty". I look utterly ridiculous. I never do the hair, make-up, nail thing so it is kind of a shocker when I look in the mirror right now. Before I left this morning I told Eric that when he saw the finished job, he had to try very hard not to laugh... He was mostly successful in this. In my family, we seem to be wearing to the wedding things that we eat. The color of my mom's dress is cognac. The color of my dress is chocolate. My sister, a tiny little size 2, is wearing a raspberry colored dress. My sister, by the way, is single... Contact me privately if you are interested! I have to go practice the reading I've been assigned for the ceremony. It would be bad for the speech pathologist to stumble on words... The weather here in the SF East Bay is warm, sunny and perfect for a wedding, I mean a winning!!! ID: 926326 ·
