Does the group remember the SCI FI TV SHOW UFO?? Yeah I remember the show, Especially the ladies on the Moon with the Purple wigs, The Interceptors(Sub and Space based), It was followed by Space 1999 as that's what UFO mutated into. Maya, Eagle Transports, Moonbase Alpha, Commander Koenig, etc. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

I don't remember UFO and never watched it (before my time) but I have seen reruns of Space 1999 and loved the show. Yeah that was the show(SPACE: 1999) that ran for 2 years. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space_1999 The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Yeah, I agree, UFO and later SPACE:1999 were good shows, I watched both of them when they 1st came on TV here in the USA. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Well both shows are currently on daytime ITV4 here in the UK. Freeview digital. We now have an ever greater choice of ever more rubbish. BBC 4 is running a great series on poetry at the moment. More Beowulf than Alien, though. |

Well both shows are currently on daytime ITV4 here in the UK. Well there is some rubbish, but ITV4 does seem to specialise in classic rubbish, for instance today 9:50am The saint starring Roger Moore 10:50am Randall and Hopkirk deceased. 11:50am Minder (the original) Of course it tends to go downhill a bit about now. Showing Barb Wire with Pamela Anderson I had a thing for Gabrielle Drake, who played LT Gay Ellis on Moonbase in UFO PICS Bernie :-) |
