Woohoo! We have a contract for free Repairs on the driveway!!! He gave absolutely no resistance and *TOLD ME* to design the contract and send it to him to sign!

Is replacing the driveway or doing spot repairs?

Cut out the last 20' of the driveway, dig it out and lay a new foundation-and then resurface the entire driveway. Totally under warranty.

YAAYYY!!!

They're digging up the bottom part tmrw and paving Wednesday!

So, hopefully someone will be on-hand to keep 'em honest this time? I just had a little bit of paving work done at the office and they were ready to fill 'er up when I pointed out that the hole they had dug didn't look like the 5 inches deep they had promised. They pulled out the plumb-line and measured it off and confirmed that they were only 3 inches deep at points and had to go back to do it right before they could put the 16 yards of patch in place.

Yes a sidewalk supervisor is a very important part of the process. Especially if the place hires a subcontractor.

I just had a whole bunch of cheaters busted in one of my games. The admins there are going through them all and have banned a lot of them, it's much bigger than I thought. LMAO :-D

I really love to have cheaters busted and banned! :-D

Not cheats. Cheaters! Multis. People who play with multiple accounts. Which is not allowed.

It's getting bigger, now 10+ players have been banned, most probably accounts owned by that same person, and we will see how many more. So he was in fact pwned! LOL

So you can cheat with multis? I'll set up my interpol evading proxies and invade your town. A hundred borg disguised with 10-gallon hats should do it.

No, we can't cheat with multis. Being exposed as a multi will get you banned from the game.

Driveway is done....tomorrow I get the van repaired @ 8:30am. Then have the day with my wife.

Saturday oldest pup Izzy has a 9:30am ultrasound appt for her heart to measure the murmur she has to determine a proper course of treatment.

On the other hand, we've finally specialized Abby's diet enough where the ear infections have stopped (knock on wood!).

That's OK. Once I razed your town the ban would be too late.

I spent all evening/night self-learning video editing. Yay me! From full length HD, to SD, to a snippet under 10MB.

Here we have the Dan Werthimer timeline. First in 2004, 2008, and 2009 here and here. Hey Dan, nice t-shirt!

Well I thought things were going to calm down...HA!

This morning I heard a brief whimper and Abby came in to lie in bed with me. Sleeping with me in the morning is unusual for Abby, but since she was quiet I thought nothing of it.

When I got up, Izzy just hovered on me which means something was upsetting her.

When I let Abby out, she goes a little bit and just sits. It took me an hour to coax her back into the house even with a treat.

She's resting on the rug quietly now and is obviously limping. We have a 7:20pm vet appt and I'll update after that.

Got a bad feeling her good knee has gone....she was trembling in my wife's lap when she called me a few mins ago

UPDATE: Abby is ok (at the moment). She apparently "rolled" the knee and it's really swollen. They gave her a shot of Pain Med. She's already walking around a bit (hope that's a good sign). If overnight she doesn't do her business and doesn't sleep she'll have X-rays tmrw

Our vet is wonderful- they gave me the secret phone # so I can call in a 7:30am to say Abby's coming in because we had a bad night, or that she is doing better.

Blurf, good that your dog seems to have been better.

I had a haircut today, my hair is now shoulder long, or longer, I have to take away some hair that comes under the shoulder strap on my bag when it gets stuck there. My hair has become very wavy, almost curly, so I bought some products for curly hair, they are supposed to enhance the curls. I'll start to use them now, then I'll see how much more curly it becomes. The effects I have in it comes out really nice among the big curls. :-)

I have only good hair days now a days. In fact I've now got that kind of hair I've always dreamt of having, the good haircut and the products are working well so it looks really good. Yay! :-D

The other day I bought a small one of these ---->

It's very small, there's only coffee for one mug in it so I can make a new fresh one if I want more. It's much better than the bigger one I have, the coffee gets cold even I wrap a little warmer around it.

So right now I'm enjoying a fresh brewed mug of coffee.

Ok Ok, I'll make some for all of you, so here it is, coffee for all:

Have a cup:

I'm really busy with my games, I am now town founder in the other one of them, and we have three towns, where I am in charge of the diplomacy. That requires a lot, I have had some negotiations about alliances now the new update comes with some very new features, that's in two games now. And I had some negotiations with an another town founder where one of his people had attacked some of ours, I was really tough with him. But after all the tough talk we, him and I, had a real nice conversation, he's a lawyer living in NY, I asked him if he couldn't see the litigations in our tough talk and he admitted that he could. Heh, I could have been a good litigator. LOL
