The ok has been given to start a contest for the 10th anniversary T-Shirt Logo design. I am not sure, if there will be a front and back, so post your creations with that in mind. The winning designer will receive a T-Shirt autographed by some or all of the staff at Berkeley. Can't join us in person, this is your chance to be part of the celebration. | |

I love your design (no I will not be a judge, at least I hope I am not.), but in the spirit of the anniversary, you should revise the logo as to IT not being a way to recruit team members, but for the benefit of all Setizens. While I like a lot of the submissions, one thing did cross my mind. As UCB will be making T-shirts of the design, any pictures would need to be the author's own work or a public domain photo. John, I'm sure you do create all your own work. You also aren't the only one with what might be NASA photos in their work, besides the possible non-government photos of Arecibo. Just pointing out that the specific source for the image will need to be given so UCB's lawyers can be satisfied that the proposed use won't infringe. ____________ | |
