If you have installed BOINC on another drive, you'll need to uninstall it and reinstall it, then in the 3rd screen in the installer click Advanced and point your BOINC Data directory (in the least) to the new drive, new path on there. |

Can I have the BIONIC Data directory on an external drive? Will it cause problems when the drive isn't connected (other than BIONIC being unable to work at that specific moment)? I'm asking because the c-drive on my computer has less than 1 gb free space at the moment and it usually never has more than 2gb free space. The external drive is connected 90 % of the time. |

There's nothing wrong with putting the BOINC (not BIONIC) data directory on a removable drive other than you need to make sure you shut BOINC down first before removing the drive, and make sure you don't start BOINC back up until the drive is reconnected. |

There's nothing wrong with putting the BOINC (not BIONIC) data directory on a removable drive I could have sworn that statement just said that there's nothing wrong with putting the data directory on a removable drive. |
